The retrospective of the Space Group, the team behind the design of the Expo 67 Korean Pavilion, reveals subtle micro-memories not documented in the official history of modern Korean architecture. The dedication of Korean-Canadian architects and civic groups to preserving the pavilion at Jean-Drapeau Park, where Expo 67 took place, demonstrates that pavilions transcend political spaces that monumentalize national ideologies, or cultivate cultural capital, and instead form organic vitality through solidarity with citizens.
